Bluewater Anglers Hatchery Point Edward Aug. 2020 (BlackburnNews.com photo by Dave Dentinger)Children will learn the basics of fishing this weekend during the Bluewater Anglers’ annual Kids Training Day.
The event will be held at the hatchery in Point Edward on Saturday, May 31.
Club volunteers will show kids how to properly cast a line and tie knots. The free event will also cover boat/water safety.
Young participants will be able to put their skills to the test by catching a fish from the hatchery pond.
The event required registration as only 100 spots were available.
