The smell of barbecued ribs will fill the air along Sarnia's waterfront this Father's Day weekend.
It's the 26th annual Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest at Centennial Park.
Spokesperson Vicky Praill said the three-day event will feature five ribbers.
"Two of them are new," said Praill. "We have Texas Jack's Barbecue and Boss Hog's which are joining us this year."
Last year, over 25,000 people walked through the gates.
"People from all over Ontario that come every year with their families, so it's quite an amazing event," said Praill. "We're super excited and this event definitely wouldn't be possible without all the sponsors and all the great volunteers."
Praill said there's also a Kids Fun Zone this year, 10 musical acts, a beer tent, as well as arts and craft vendors.
"This year the Sarnia Street Machines are also joining us," she said. "They'll have their cars just outside the gate at Centennial Park. It will be a great weekend for everyone."
Money raised from the event stays in the community, supporting local charities and community groups.
Gates are open from 11:30 a.m. until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $5 for adults, kids 16 and under get in free.
