Police said a man wearing a facemask had allegedly stolen gift cards and medical supplies before taking off in a vehicle northbound on Colborne Road.

The vehicle was quickly located and stopped on Indian Road, north of Exmouth Street where the driver was arrested.

The releases included prohibitions from attending specific retail stores, which the man violated.

He has been charged with theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of fail to comply with release order and disguise with intent.
