LPH seeks dog, owner after biting incident at Norm Perry Park

Lambton Public Health (LPH) is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner after a dog bite incident that happened Saturday night.

LPH said it occurred at around 7:30 p.m. at Norm Perry Park in Sarnia during a Sarnia Imperials football game.

The dog is described as medium size, a mixed breed with black, grey and, white in colour and wearing a green soft lead head collar.

The dog’s name was reported to be “Badger”.

The owner is described as a female with sandy blonde, shoulder length hair between the ages of 25 and 35 years old.

Anyone with information about the location of the dog and its owner, is asked to contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3812 or toll-free at 1-800-667-1839.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim may need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
