Traditional dancing and singing will be front and centre at Aamjiwnaang First Nation this weekend.
The 62nd annual powwow will be held on June 21 and 22 at Bear Park on Virgil Avenue.
Gates open both days at 10 a.m.
The grand entry will be at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday and at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be fancy, jingle, grass, and traditional contests as well as baby and tiny tot contests.
Earlier this week, the First Nation said it was monitoring benzene levels after high levels were detected.
Levels will be monitored and an evacuation plan has been developed if it is required.
Admission is $10 for those between the ages of 13 and 64 and $5 for children between the ages of six and 12.
Children five and under and those over the age of 65 are free.
