High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Lambton OPP have released a photo of a suspect and a vehicle as they investigate a break and enter at a property in Lambton Shores.On Saturday, June 21, officers were called to a theft at a property on Port Franks Road, near Northville Road.Police said at around 2:40 p.m., three suspects entered an outdoor structure and stole two gas cans. The suspect vehicle is described as a grey Ford Escape SUV. The investigation is continuing.Anyone that can identify the person in the photo, or has further information, is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8411 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
