A vehicle slammed into a hydro pole in Point Edward Wednesday night, sending one person to hospital.
Lambton OPP responded to the collision on Michigan Avenue near Louisa Street at around 8 p.m., along with Point Edward Fire and Rescue and Lambton EMS.
The driver and lone occupant was extricated by firefighters using the jaws of life, and taken to Bluewater Health with unknown injuries.
Michigan Avenue was closed between Louisa Street and Arthur Street for several hours while repairs to the hydro pole and downed wires were completed.
