Lambton OPP say a 44-year-old from Lambton Shores has died following an incident at Ipperwash Beach.
Police, Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and volunteer firefighters responded to a call for assistance at the beach, near the end of Ipperwash Road, on Sunday at about 6:20 p.m.
An unresponsive individual, who had been brought to shore by another person, was located.
Early investigation determined the individual had entered shallow water after diving from a vessel and became unresponsive.
The individual was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing.
Earlier this week, OPP reported an 18-year-old from London died following a drowning incident at the same beach on Monday.
