Police ask for tips in Lakeshore Rd. collision

Sarnia police are appealing to the public for information as officers continue to investigate a serious collision involving a teenage pedestrian on Lakeshore Road at Blackwell Sideroad.

A 17-year-old was struck by a vehicle at approximately 11:45 p.m. on July 1.

Police said the young man was taken to Bluewater Health with serious injuries and remains under hospital care. 

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has cell phone video, residential surveillance video, and/or dashcam footage is asked to contact the investigating officer, Cst. Mike Ross, at (519) 344-8861 extension 6216 or 216@police.sarnia.on.ca.
