Vintage in the Village introduces new start time

An outdoor vintage car show held in Point Edward over the summer months will start an hour earlier than usual this Friday.

Vintage in the Village is usually held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.

However, gates will open at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25 at Waterfront Park, and the event will run from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The Sarnia Street Cruisers announced the new start time on Facebook to accommodate for two bands scheduled to perform.

The event will also include a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will go to support the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

Village of Point Edward CAO Jim Burns previously said they usually see over 100 cars during the event.

Vintage in the Village is held on the last Friday of every month, between May and September.
