Sarnia police arrest repeat offender for allegedly exposing himself

Sarnia police have charged a 26-year-old man for allegedly exposing himself at an overflow shelter.

At around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, officers were called to the shelter on Exmouth Shelter.

A witness reportedly told police that a man "whipped his (genitals) out" in front of the building. The witness also provided the man's name to police.

Police later found the man disrupting customers in a drive through.

He was arrested and charged with committing an indecent act and breaching his probation. He remains in police custody.

This is the 10th time the man has been arrested since August 2024. He's now been charged with committing an indecent five times.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
