Local residents are invited to take part in an outdoor shopping experience.
The fourth annual Shop the Shoreline is set for Saturday, August 9 at Centennial Park.
Spokesperson Cindy Scholten said over 100 unique artisans and local vendors will be lined up along the shoreline.
"This is really the who's who of the area's small business scene," said Scholten. "I've got them hand picked, the top tier artisans, authors and small business owners. Many of them have one of kind products you will not find anywhere else."
She said there will also be food vendors and live music.
Admission is free, however donations will be accepted for the Sarnia Kinsmen.
"With my experience and teaming up to support the Sarnia Kinsmen, it makes it not just an event but really a celebration here for the local community," said Scholten. "And that's why I ask just bring in a couple of bucks, whatever your family can afford, on your way in and 100 per cent of that goes to the Sarnia Kinsmen."
It will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be three entry tents, where residents can purchase a ballot to win some treats.
"So I call it the Shop the Shoreline super prize, it's always put on by Alternate Grounds Dockside," said Scholten. "The prize will include a $100 cash prize, plus there's over $400 in products and goodies from the vendors. One winner takes all. Ballots are only $2 or three for $5. Again, 100 per cent of this money goes to the Sarnia Kinsmen."
She said typically over 3,000 people attend the outdoor market event.
