Family finds uninvited man bathing in their hot tub

A young Sarnia family was startled to find a stranger taking a bath in their hot tub over the weekend.

Sarnia police were called to a home on King Street just before 8 a.m. Saturday.

A woman, about to take her children outside to play, opened her backdoor to check the weather and instead found a man bathing himself in her hot tub.

Her husband confronted the man and called police.

Responding officers arrived to find a disheveled, soaking wet individual walking away from the deck.

The 51-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with mischief, and two counts of breach of probation.

Sarnia police said he was released in bail court with conditions not to return to that address.
