Sarnia man charged with voyeurism and break and enter in separate incidents

Sarnia police have charged a 20-year-old man with voyeurism.

On August 7, a 16-year-old girl reported that a man potentially took a photo under her skirt inside a store.

She claimed that an unknown man positioned himself next to her and when she turned around, the man had his arm low with his his phone.

Police used video surveillance to identify the man, later arresting and charging him.

During the investigation, police stated they were able to link the man to another crime that happened a couple days earlier.

A woman alleged that she woke up around 2 a.m. to find a man standing at the foot of her bed, trying to pull the covers off her.

The man left after the woman began to scream.

Police didn't clarify how the man was linked, only that evidence pointed to him being responsible.

He faces several charges over the two incidents including voyeurism and break and enter.

He remains in police custody after having a bail hearing.
