Sarnia Fire Rescue were called to a home on Griffith Road near Rosedale Avenue just after 11 p.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a heavily involved dwelling, with flames spreading to the roof of a neighbouring home.
Authorities said all occupants of the home were able to escape safely and no injuries are reported.
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
