Over $171.4M of cocaine seized at Southern land ports this year

Over the first seven months of 2025, the Canada Border Service Agency has seized 1.37 metric tonnes of cocaine at land ports in Southern Ontario.

The illegal drugs, worth an estimated $171.4 million, were seized in 35 enforcement actions at Blue Water, Queenston, Peace, Rainbow and Ambassador Bridges, and the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel.

The seizures include the $23.4 million of cocaine seized at the Ambassador Bridge in May.

There were two large seizures at the Blue Water Bridge. On June 12, 2025, 161 bricks were seized, worth an estimated $23.3 million. On July 23, 2025, there were 197 kg of cocaine seized with an estimated street value of $24.6 million.
