Confederation St./Indian Rd. rehabilitation project underway

Work has started on the two month long Confederation Street and Indian Road rehabilitation project

The work area includes Confederation Street from Sutton Street to Murphy Road and Indian Road from Campbell Street to Kathleen Avenue.

Work project includes curb repairs, manhole, valve and catch basin adjustments, milling and hot mix asphalt resurfacing.

During construction, through traffic will be permitted and businesses will remain open.

However the County of Lambton is advising motorists to be prepared for delays and temporary lane closures.

We're also reminded to obey posted signage, and drive in a manner that respects the health and safety of road crews.

Work is expected to last until late October, weather permitting.
