One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 40 in St. Clair Township.
Lambton OPP said the collision happened at the intersection of Hwy. 40 and Oil Springs Line on Thursday.
St. Clair Township Fire Department said emergency crews were at the scene shortly before 2:30 p.m.
The highway has been closed in both directions between Courtright Line and Bickford Line. Motorists have been asked to avoid the area if possible and follow the directives of the officers at the scene.
Shortly after 3 p.m., OPP told Sarnia News Today that the closure was expected to last for several hours.
