Driver of SUV hauling boat crashes into ditch

The Ontario Provincial Police are urging drivers to be extra cautious while towing trailers.

The message comes after an SUV hauling a boat ended up in a ditch on the Highway 402 eastbound off-ramp at Forest Road.

Emergency crews were called at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

No injuries were reported.

A 38-year-old from Sarnia was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving.

Police said if you have an urgent traffic complaint, call 911 immediately.
