Man dies after being struck by vehicle in Sarnia

A 32-year-old Sarnia man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on East Street North Saturday, September 13.

City police were called just after 11 p.m. and located a man lying on the roadway.

Investigators said two off-duty nurses were performing CPR as Lambton EMS and Sarnia Fire Rescue arrived.

The man was pronounced deceased shortly after.

Police said the vehicle was travelling south on East Street just before Cameron Street when it struck the male on the roadway.

The driver immediately stopped and remained on the scene.

The Sarnia Police Traffic Services Unit (Collision Reconstruction) continue to investigate the collision.
