A 21-year-old man was arrested for theft following disturbances along Exmouth Street.
On Thursday, September 18 police were called to Exmouth Street near Indian Road where a man was reported stumbling into traffic but was not located.
Approximately 45 minutes later police were called to a store on Exmouth Street near Colborne Road for a man causing a disturbance and yelling.
Police said while he was inside the store he was allegedly attempting to conceal items, making no attempt to pay for anything as he left.
While he was leaving his photo ID fell out of his pocket.
Police said shortly after there were reports of a man outside of a bank, in the same plaza, where he was behaving erratically and harassing pedestrians.
A short time later officers were called to the area of Exmouth Street and Colborne Road to more reports of a man stumbling into traffic.
He was not located because of heavy foot traffic in the area at the time.
Police said just after 8:50 p.m., EMS found an unconscious man on a London Road sidewalk.
Police said he woke up upon contact but was heavily intoxicated and refused medical treatment.
Officers arrived to the area and arrested him.
The man is charged with causing a disturbance and two counts of fail to comply with probation.
He was released with conditions.
