Sarnia Sting fall short, lose 5-2 to the Soo

The Sarnia Sting dropped their first road game of the OHL season, 5-2 to the Soo Greyhounds.

Jack Van Volsen and Liam Beamish both scored for the Sting, who trailed 3-0 after the first period.

Chase Reid had a goal and an assist in the Greyhounds win.

Travis Hayes, Tate Vader, Jakub Winkelhofer and Noah Laus also scored for the Soo.

The Sarnia Sting were outshot 38-29.

Goalie Patrick Quinlan made his second start for the Sting, stopping 33 shots in net.
