Sarnia police arrested pair of alleged thieves in separate incidents late last week.
On Thursday, September 25 police were called to business on London Road after security had arrested a man for alleged theft.
Police said a 27-year-old man had entered the store and allegedly took a professional grade 70-piece socket set, a high performance LED flashlight, and a rechargeable headlamp valued at just under $400 and placed the items in his backpack.
The suspect paid for a canned drink before leaving, but police said he didn't pay for the items in the bag.
He's charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of probation.
On Friday, September 26 police were called again to a London Road business after security had arrested a man for alleged theft.
It's alleged the 33-year-old man concealed about $200 worth of tolls on his person before exiting without making any effort to pay.
He's charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of probation.
Police said both suspects have each had over 20 interactions with the Sarnia Police Service since October of last year.
