A Sarnia man accused of committing indecent acts along the Howard Watson Nature Trail and Wawanosh Wetlands has been arrested once again for allegedly violating the terms of his bail.
The 74-year-old was initially arrested in June following a lengthy investigation by city police.
He was charged with six counts of committing an indecent act and two counts of exposure to a minor.
The suspect was released with conditions which barred him from being within 10 metres of the Howard Watson Trail, The Rapids Parkway Trail, or any public park, public swimming area, daycare centre, school ground, playground, or community centre.
Just before 4 p.m. on Sunday, police received a GPS equipped ankle monitor report that the suspect came within 10 metres of the Howard Watson Trail, in the Pontiac Court and Exmouth Street area.
He was arrested and held for bail on a charge of failing to comply with a release order.
Following his bail hearing, the court remanded him into custody.
