Drugs and cash were seized by Sarnia police after they were called about someone allegedly trying to steal from parked vehicles.
Police said the incident happened in the area of Wellington and Russell Streets just after 3 a.m. on September 29.
They allegedly spotted two women and a man nearby.
Police said the man was acting suspiciously and refused to remove his hands from his pockets.
It's alleged a pat down of the suspect turned up drug paraphernalia (pipes) and residue.
After searching a backpack, officers allegedly found 2.25 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 3.96 grams of cocaine, 109.5 grams of MDMA, $481.35 in assorted bills, and other evidence indicative of drug trafficking.
At the time of this offence, the accused was subject to a probation order.
Police said the two women were released, and the investigation into the theft from vehicles was not able to be substantiated with the information available.
A 34-year-old, of no fixed address in Sarnia, was held for bail on charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and failure to comply with probation. Following his bail hearing, the suspect was remanded into custody by the court.
