A quantity of suspected synthetic opioids were seized by Sarnia police in a recent drug bust.
On October 6, the Sarnia Police Major Case Action Team (MCAT) executed a search warrant at a home on Cardiff Drive.
Officers seized 22.57 grams of para-fluorofentanyl, 1.18 grams of tan fentanyl valued at about $4,400.
Police also found drug paraphernalia, a large dagger, BB gun and .22 caliber ammunition and a 12-guage shotgun shell.
A 49-year-old Sarnia man is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and multiple counts of breaching probation.
He was held for bail, and remanded into custody.
