Driver charged in rollover crash

A rollover crash last weekend resulted in impaired driving charges for a young motorist.

Lambton OPP were called to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Modeland Road, south of London Line just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, October 18.

Police said the driver, a 19-year-old from Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

They were charged with impaired driving, having above the legal concentration of blood alcohol, and dangerous driving.

Their licence was also suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for a week.
