Sarnia trail cleanup planned Saturday

The nuSarnia Foundation is looking for volunteers to help clean up the Midtown Trail and Howard Watson Nature Trail on Saturday, October 25.

The group said it will be a great opportunity to spend the morning outdoors, connect with others and help keep the trails beautiful and welcoming.

Volunteers are asked to register online.

The group will be meeting where the two trails bisect, with parking recommended behind Swiss Chalet on London Road.

Garbage bags will be provided.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes including long pants, closed-toed shoes or boots, and bring gloves if you have them.

The cleanup is planned between 9 a.m. and noon.
