Northern showcases Sarnia craft and food vendors

Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School is hosting its annual fall craft sale this weekend, raising funds for the high school.

Organizer Martina Carr said there are over 80 vendors lined up offering a wide variety of goods.

"Everything you name, we have," said Carr. "We have knitting, we have sewing, we have woodwork, candles, bagels from the Bagel Factory and pottery," she said.

Student MJ Baldwin said student artwork will also be on display.

"So there'll be a few classes showcasing some of their work, and we hope that a lot of people come to see it," she said.

Baldwin said admission is a minimum donation of $2. Kids 12 and under are free.

Money raised will go towards the beautification of the Michigan Avenue high school and school resources.

Last year, funds went towards upgrades at the courtyard.

Saturday's craft sale is on from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
