Local businesses and entrepreneurs were honored over the weekend.
The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce handed out its annual Outstanding Business Achievement Awards Friday night.
"“For 35 years, the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards have recognized the passion and perseverance that drive our community forward,” said Chamber of Commerce CEO Carrie McEachran, in a news release. “Each of this year’s nominees and winners represent what makes Sarnia-Lambton such an exceptional place to live, work, and do business — collaboration, innovation, and a deep commitment to community.”
Awards were handed out in 12 categories including Excellence in Customer Service (Individual) which went to David Burrows.
John Degroot took home Member of the Year and Large Business of the Year went to Bluewater Power Group of Companies.
This year's Inclusivity Awards was given to Sarnia-Lambton Rebound.
The annual gala was held at the Four Points by Sheraton in Point Edward.

-Medium Business of the Year- Mary Browns
-Entrepreneur of the Year- Lillian Tang (Tang’s China House)
-Non-Profit of the Year- Pathways Health Centre for Children
-Green Business Award- Cargill Limited
-Young Professional of the Year- Brittany Burling, Libro Credit Union
-Agri-Business of the Year- Aslan Organics
-Innovation Award- Lambton College
