On the heels of Halloween, residents can start their Christmas shopping early by visiting the Optimist Club of Lambton Central - Petrolia's annual Craft and Gift Show.
Event Chair Deb Kohoutek said over 65 vendors are signed up for the event, which will be held on Saturday, November 1.
Artisan vendors will offer an array of products, ranging from knitted items, woodwork, homemade candles, skincare, bedding, clothing, and jewelry.
"There are so many amazing vendors! We have pet vendors, Stafford Brothers Meats is going to be there, we have health and wellness vendors, we also have Bluewater Health coming to sell tickets for the Dream Home Lottery," she said.
The Craft and Gift Show has been running for over a decade and typically sees 1,000 to 1,200 attendees.
"We're just looking forward to seeing everybody come through," Kohoutek said. "Our amazing vendors deserve the attention."
The sale will be held at Lambton Central Collegiate & Vocational Institute (LCCVI) in Petrolia from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Attendees can enter from the back parking lot.
Kohoutek said all of the vendors will be on one level, so the event is accessibility-friendly.
Admission is free.
Food and refreshments will be available to purchase, there will also be a toonie table raffle, and door prizes.
"It's been a great fundraiser for our club," said Kohoutek. "Everything we do goes back to the youth in the community. It's events like this that allow us to continue supporting our community youth."
A full list of vendors expected to be at the event can be found on the Optimist Club's Facebook page.
