Sting lose in overtime to Barrie

The Sarnia Sting suffered a 3-2 overtime loss to the Barrie Colts Thursday, extending their losing skid to four games.

Beckham Edwards and Cameron Aucoin both scored for Sarnia who led 2-0 briefly in the second period.

The Colts scored three unanswered goals, including the overtime winner by Kashawn Aitcheson to complete the comeback.

Sting goalie Charlie Larocque stopped 33 shots in the loss.

The loss puts Sarnia at 4-7-3-0 on the OHL campaign, while Barrie improved to 6-7-0-3.

The Sting are in Guelph to face the Storm Sunday afternoon. You can catch the game live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM) beginning with the pregame show at 1:30 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
