It is going to be a windy Wednesday for parts of Lambton County.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for north and east Lambton, advising of northwest winds up to 80 kilometres an hour.
The national weather agency said southwest winds are expected to become northwesterly Wednesday afternoon with the passage of a cold front.
Environment Canada said winds will be strong enough to toss loose objects, snap tree limbs, and potentially cause power outages.
Gusty winds are expected to diminish later in the evening into the overnight hours.
