Community partners worked together on Wednesday to install a Christmas tree in front of Sarnia City Hall.
Dan Rapaich donated this year’s tree, which is on display in the front plaza.
Sev-Con Paving donated their services to transport the tree to city hall and Jebco Cranes offered to use their equipment to hoist the tree into place.
City staff also assisted with the process.
The engineering department obtained the necessary permits and traffic control, the forestry team inspected and looked after the tree's removal and installation, and the facilities team helped with the groundwork for the installation.
