You have until Friday, November 28 to register for St. Vincent de Paul Sarnia-Lambton's Christmas hamper program.
Yule Glow, which has been running for over 33 years, collects donations to help low income families and individuals over the holidays who have not applied for help with another agency.
"This year we are looking to take about 760 names," said Operations Manager Lynn Huey. "I believe that is a little bit less than last year."
Residents can register for assistance at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, at 106 East Street South in Sarnia, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"It's important that they do get out and register," Huey said. "We're wanting to make sure we get the word out for everyone that needs help in Sarnia, Point Edward, or Bright's Grove."
You're asked to bring identification for everyone in your household, proof of income and your address.
Donations can also be dropped off at the thrift store.
About 9,000 donations were received in 2024.
