If you need to get some holiday shopping done, you may want to visit the Sarnia Christmas Market this weekend.
Eve Morgan-Langille from Eve Morgan Events & Promotions said it's full of local vendors.
"We've got honey and baked goods, we also have lots of great gifts and greenery, and there's pottery as well. When it comes to take-home food that you might want to stock your freezer with," said Morgan-Langille. "Shopping local is the focus. And basically, for some of these vendors, it is their bread and butter. So that's why we're focusing on a local element to make sure that everyone has a great Christmas."
A cash donation, which goes to a local charity, is required at the door.
"Usually, what happens is I talk to the vendors and see where they'd like the money to go. We usually focus on very local, so where the money stays here," said Morgan-Langille.
There will also be live music at the event, Shotgun Shack and Mike Blackmore Music will be performing, sponsored by Vision Nursing and Rest Home and the Village of Point Edward.
The market will be held at the Quality Inn on Christina Street on Friday, December 12 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, December 13 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
