A single vehicle collision and what OPP said was a dump truck rollover, closed a section of the westbound Highway 402 Wednesday morning.
Traffic started being directed off the highway at Centre Road in Middlesex County, to Nauvoo Road in Lambton County just before 10 a.m.
No injuries had been reported.
West Region OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk reminded drivers to adjust to the changing road and weather conditions.
"Speeding, tailgating, aggressive lane maneuvers, especially on slick snow- covered roads is a recipe for disaster," said Sanchuk in a video posted to social media. "These are the types of driving behaviours that contribute to the crashes we are investigating on our highways and in our communities."
While no weather advisories were posted for Lambton County, Environment Canada had a yellow snowfall warning in effect for London-Middlesex, Huron, Perth, Oxford, Grey and Bruce counties.
