Snow squalls are expected to impact the morning commute across Sarnia-Lambton Monday.
Environment Canada has issued a yellow level snow squall warning for Sarnia-Lambton and a yellow watch for north and east Lambton.
The national weather agency said bands of lake effect snow over Lake Huron will impact areas on the southern shores near Sarnia early Monday morning and then shift eastward by the afternoon.
The main concern will be low visibilities however some areas may receive five to 10 centimetres of snow in a hour, with possible snowfall accumulations of up to 15 centimetres.
Motorists are advised that visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times, and to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
