The Sarnia Sting suffered their fifth loss in a row Tuesday night, falling 4-1 to the Rangers in Kitchener.
NHL Draft prospect and Sarnia Captain, Alessandro Di Iorio scored his 11th of the year with the lone goal in the loss.
Rookie goalie Kale Osipenko recorded 31 saves in only his third OHL start for the Sting.
The Kitchener Rangers outshot Sarnia 35-12.
Lightning prospect Sam O’Reilly had a three-point night, including his third game-winning goal since joining Kitchener three weeks ago.
The Sting (13-27-5-1) have 22 games left in the regular season. Sarnia is eight points behind eighth-place Owen Sound.
