The Sting came out on top against Saginaw 4-2 on home ice Friday night.
Brenner Lammens had a goal and an assist for Sarnia. Alessandro Di Iorio, Matthew Manza, and Ben Pickell also scored for the Sting. Egor Barabanov and Dimian Zhilkin had the Saginaw goals.
"I definitely think it was a must win an I think we worked hard and did what we needed to do," said Brenner Lammens in a post-game interview. "It's always a little confidence boost to score in the first shift, but (I had to) stick to my game and keep doing what I needed to do."
