The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) has arrested a man, accused of sexually assaulting a female youth on a Sarnia Transit bus.
Police said the victim was riding the bus on Saturday in the area of Confederation Street.
It's alleged the suspect boarded at around 1:10 p.m., sat beside the youth, and made unwanted advances.
The suspect allegedly touched the victim and kissed her on the neck despite being told to stop. Police said he eventually exited at another stop.
The suspect was later identified as Joseph Lucas Sr., 67, of Sarnia, and he was arrested later that afternoon. Police said Lucas was on probation, with orders including the requirement to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He's charged with sexual assault and failing to comply with probation. Following his bail hearing, police said Lucas was released by the court with conditions.
