St. Patrick's High School is opening its doors to prospective students.
The St. Clair Catholic District School Board said the high school on Rapids Parkway in Sarnia will host an open house for Grade 7 and Grade 8 students.
The event will allow future students to explore the different academic and extracurricular opportunities offered at St. Pat's, as well as learn more about community service projects such as the Irish Miracle Food Drive.
“We’re excited to welcome our future Irish and show them all that St. Pat’s has to offer,” said Principal Daniella Mancusi in a news release. “With outstanding programs and an incredible, supportive community rooted deeply in Sarnia’s history, St. Pat’s is a place where every student can thrive, no matter which pathway they choose to explore.”
The Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The school board said families can tour the school at their own pace, and meet with educators, school leaders and support staff.
Representatives from Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs, the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), and other community partners will also be on hand.
