That's up from 22 permits in January of last year worth just over $1.2 million.
The monthly statistics include a $650,000 permit for fire alarm system modifications at Lambton Mall.
One permit was issued last month for a single-family home in Sarnia, worth $850,000.
Jeremy Guerette said a total of 81 homes were sold across Lambton County last month, which is down by under five per cent from January of 2025.
Chair Dale Wilcox said $59,200 was raised from sales that will be used by the club to do work throughout the community.
