The Judith and Norman Alix Foundation welcomes funding applications

The Judith and Norman Alix Foundation is accepting funding applications for local capital projects that benefit communities in Lambton County.

“The Foundation was created with a simple purpose — to give back to the community that has given so much to us,” said Joe Alix, President of the Judith and Norman Alix Foundation, in a news release. “We are proud to support capital projects that strengthen community spaces, improve access, and enhance quality of life for people across Lambton County. We encourage local organizations with meaningful ideas to apply.”

The deadline to submit funding applications is 4 p.m. on Friday, May 1 and those that are accepted will be announced later that month.

To be eligible for funding, projects must be located within Lambton County.

The Judith and Norman Alix Foundation has contributed more than $8.6 million to community initiatives in the region.

The Foundation works closely with local leaders in the community to find projects where support can make a meaningful impact.
