Forest theft suspect arrested

A 44-year-old Lambton Shores man is facing charges for allegedly stealing from a Forest business.

Lambton OPP said several grocery items were stolen from a King Street East business on January 18.

A photo was released on February 2 in hopes of identifying the suspect.

In an update issued on Tuesday, OPP said the accused was arrested on February 5 and charged with theft under $5,000, and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused was held in custody following a bail hearing. Lambton OPP thanked those who provided tips through Crime Stoppers.

Third suspect identified in Russell Street stabbing

Donovan Joseph is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, break and enter, assault, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with a release order.
