OPP say victim pepper sprayed in rest stop disturbance

Lambton OPP have laid assault charges against a Leamington man after he allegedly pepper sprayed someone in a disturbance at a rest stop in Plympton-Wyoming.

On February 9, at around 9:15 p.m., police were called to the rest area on Highway 402 westbound for a report of two people causing a disturbance.

Police said minor injuries were reported.

Shawn Tinus, 48, was arrested and released from custody.

He is scheduled to appear in court on March 5.
