$350K in damage after St. Clair fire

A barn fire has caused an estimated $350,000 in damage, according to the St. Clair Township Fire Department.

The Fire service responded to 1271 Courtright Line at roughly 5:44 a.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported that the fire was fully involved and called for additional units.

Roughly 30 firefighters came to the blaze and began controlling the fire.

According to the fire service, the barn is a total loss, with one calf and several chickens lost in the flames.

The fire has been extinguished, and no firefighters were injured during the incident.

Police have since reopened Country Road.
