Impaired driving charges have been laid following a hit and run on Devine Street, near Indian Road South.
Sarnia police said a black Dodge Ram pickup truck hit a parked car in a parking lot at around 3:30 a.m. on March 14.
Police said building security saw the collision, but the driver allegedly refused to stop and took off westbound on Devine Street. It's alleged the driver also went through a stop sign and a red light during this time.
The vehicle was later found at a nearby residence, which led to the driver being identified.
The 34-year-old man was arrested and police said he provided two breath samples, both more than double the legal limit.
As a result, he was charged with impaired driving, impaired driving (over .08), and failure to remain.
