Three people have been arrested in a violent break and enter and stabbing at a residence in the area of Russell Street South.
On March 9, the Sarnia Police Service said three masked individuals dressed in dark clothing allegedly forced themselves into a locked bedroom and assaulted the victim, before one of the suspects stabbed him in the leg.
A second person inside the home attempted to intervene but was also assaulted before the suspects took off.
The victim was airlifted to a regional trauma centre for further treatment due to the severity of the injuries.
Police said Tesha Oliver was arrested on March 12, while Jacob Oliver and Donovan Joseph were brought into custody on March 15 after officers searched a Willa Drive residence.
Tesha Oliver and Jacob Oliver were charged with break and enter, aggravated assault, assault, disobeying a court order, and failing to comply with probation.
Donovan Joseph was charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, assault, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with a probation order, and failing to comply with a release order.
Tesha Oliver was held for bail and has been remanded into custody. Her next court date is scheduled for March 17.
Donovan Joseph and Jacob Oliver were also held for bail and subsequently remanded into custody.
Both will appear next in court on March 20.
