Police have charged a woman with multiple trafficking charges after seizing roughly $2,300 worth of drugs.

At around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, police found an unresponsive woman against a fence on East Street, with drug paraphernalia visible in her purse.

She was taken to a hospital and medically treated.

Once she was able to speak with officers, she was arrested for drug possession.

Police searched her purse and seized cocaine, methamphetamine, a water bottle with a hidden compartment, money, and other drug paraphernalia.

The 40-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation.

She remains in custody following her bail hearing.
